Each Merlot Magic seed packet will contain 25 seeds from beautiful colored maroon, merlot, or burgandy dahlias. There will also be seeds included from dark leaved varieties such as the mystic varieties. Seeds will be mainly from collarettes and anemones but also a few singles with dark colored leaves and a few seeds from orchid varieties as well. There will be many seeds included from dark leaved anemones such as Briar Lane's Shattered Stars. This is a mix of seeds so each packet will contain a unique mix of seeds from over 30 different dahlia varieties that all either have dark leaves or beautiful dark burgandy, dark red or dark purple varieties. I do not guarantee that seedlings will look like their seed parents but I have tried to give them the best chance possible at producing beautiful seedlings with either dark bloom colors or dark colored leaves. Each seed will produce a unique flower that will produce tubers that can be saved in the fall. Plants will range in height from 3.5 ft to 6 ft tall. Some of the seed parents shown in the photos. Germination tests I did showed about 85 percent germination but germination on dahlia seeds can vary. Seeds will come with planting instructions. Dahlias are an easy flower to grow for a beautiful garden and are so attractive to pollinators. Seeds are from an organic woman owned micro flower farm. (Farm is not certified organic but uses organic pollinator friendly growing methods only.)I ship to the United States only.
